MAD Camp! (June 27-July 1, Grades 1-5)

MAD stands for Music, Art & Drama! This multi-disciplinary camp features 2 hours each day with Fort Mason neighbors Young Performers’ Theatre, Blue Bear School of Music, and San Francisco Children’s Art Center. Registration will be through Blue Bear (link provided on our schedule). SFCAC discount policies do not apply for MAD Camp.

Drawing & Painting / Architectural Sculpture (June 13-17, Grades 2-5)

Two workshops in one week! In the mornings, connect your head, heart, and hands through drawing and painting. Through close examination of objects, we’ll learn how to see more deeply and capture what we observe. We’ll tap into our imaginations to draw and paint the things we wish to see in the world. In the afternoons, we’ll build 3-dimensional structures and settings using foamcore, wire, wood, paper and recycled materials.

Land, Sea & City (July 25-29, Aug. 1-5 , Grades 2-5)

Land, Sea & City is a special art camp that combines creative time in the art studio with walking excursions in the Fort Mason area where we will draw, paint and create art inspired by our natural and built surroundings.  Different activities and excursions will be offered each week.

Art & Science / Photo Explorers (Aug. 8-12, Grades 2-5)

Two workshops in one week! In the mornings, we’ll discover the art of photo mixed media with digital photography combined with drawing, painting, and collage. In the afternoons, we’ll explore the relationship between science and art while creating unique drawings, paintings, and sculptures.
