Family Art Activity #11: Puppets & Puppet Theater

In this activity designed for children ages 7 and up, we brainstorm and design our own unique characters and settings to create our own puppet theaters. We share techniques for brainstorming, a story spine for improvising storytelling, and a special technique for putting on a puppet show via Zoom conferencing.

Materials needed:
Cardboard box (or 2 cardboard pieces), cardstock, chopsticks, crayons or markers, scissors, tape

Optional materials:
Laptop computer, zoom software
