EMPLOYMENT
Art Party Teacher
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Art Party Teacher will be responsible for assisting with Art Birthday Parties on Sundays on an as-needed basis.
SCHEDULE/HOURS
This is an on-call position.
Sundays 10:45-1:15 (2 ½ hrs.) and/or 1:45-4:15 (2 ½ hrs.)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work as a team with other art teacher(s).
- Assist with classroom preparation and cleanup.
- Coordinate and plan party project(s). Projects include Printmaking, Painting, Playdough, Collage, Drawing, and more.
- Work with children ages 3-10 and their parents.
- Assist with party refreshments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in education, art, early childhood education, or other related discipline.
- Hands-on experience working with children and art-making.
- Ability to remain calm and think clearly under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- CPR/first aid training desirable.

Assistant Teacher
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work as a team with the lead art teacher.
- Assist with classroom preparation and cleanup.
- Work with children ages 2-12.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in education, art, early childhood education, or other related discipline preferably with children ages 2-10.
- Hands-on experience working with children and art making.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with children and parents.
- CPR/first aid training desirable.
SCHEDULE/HOURS
- Work schedule may vary for each session.
- The position may be 2-12 hours per week Monday-Saturday.

Work-Exchange Scholarship
In exchange for a 2-hours per week volunteer commitment,
your child can attend one-free-art-class per week. We prefer
a session long commitment.

Art Class Assistance
- Setup & Cleanup
- Make Folders
- Sort Artwork
- Launder Towels
- Check supplies inventory
Office/Clerical Duties:
- Fold Newsletters
- Make Copies – general
- Get/Send Mail
- Straighten up office/class
- Take out Recycling + trash
- Clean up sink, supplies, floor – vacuum class and office
Specialized Tasks:
- Online research, data entry, and other computer
related tasks
- Assist with annual auction
- Have fundraising or grant writing experience? We could use your help with events and research!
Interns / Volunteers
Classroom Assistant: Help assist with classroom
activities. Work side by side with established early art education experts.
Office Assistant: Conduct internet research,
answer phones, fold newsletters and assist with an assortment of office
tasks.
