Volunteer

Interested in Volunteering for SFCAC? We could use your help!

Member, Board of Directors: Do you have expertise in the areas of grantwriting, fundraising, public relations, marketing, or human resources? Consider joining the group of dedicated, diverse, and talented individuals on our Board of Directors. We are in the early stages of a strategic planning process that will shape the future of our organization, so this is an exciting time to help us make a difference to children in San Francisco and the Bay Area!
For more information or to apply, download Board Member Job Description.

Volunteer
Volunteer opportunities include office assistance, helping out in the classroom, organizing fundraising events, and assisting us on a Board Committee, as well as research and grant support. Do you have experience in the corporate world? We would love assistance garnering more corporate support for our operating expenses and scholarship program. Please note that volunteer opportunities working with chidren are limited to those with prior experience, and who can commit to a minimum of 10 consecutive weeks.

Work Exchange: Earn Free Art Classes! Classes can be for your child or in the form of a gift certificate. Two hours of volunteering per week is good for one free art class. Projects will vary but may include design tasks, set-up and clean-up, organizing, or helping maintain our garden at Fort Mason.
