Art Party Teacher
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Art Party Teacher will be responsible for assisting with Art Birthday Parties on Saturdays and Sundays on an as-needed basis.
SCHEDULE/HOURS
This is an on-call position.
Sundays 10:45-1:15 (2 ½ hrs.) and/or 1:45-4:15 (2 ½ hrs.)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as a team with other art teacher(s).
Assist with classroom preparation and cleanup.
Coordinate and plan party project(s). Projects include Printmaking, Painting, Playdough, Collage, Drawing, and more.
Work with children ages 3-10 and their parents.
Assist with party refreshments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working in education, art, early childhood education, or other related discipline.
Hands-on experience working with children and art-making.
Ability to remain calm and think clearly under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
CPR/first aid training desirable.

Assistant Art Teacher
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Assistant Teacher will be responsible for helping teach art classes and supporting the Lead Teacher on a part-time seasonal basis.
SCHEDULE/HOURS
We offer a flexible schedule. Classes and workshops are held Monday-Sunday from 9:00-5:30pm. Work schedules may vary for each session.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work as a team with the Lead teachers
Work with children ages 2-10
Maintain art supplies
Assist with classroom preparation and cleanup
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience developing classroom projects/programs
Experience working in education, art, early childhood education, or other related discipline preferably with children ages 2-10.
Hands-on experience working with children and art making.
Excellent interpersonal skills with children and parents.
Weekend availability strongly preferred.
CPR/first aid training desirable.
